The cuisine is under the direction of chef, Robert Probst who has been widely acclaimed for his cooking and ability to prepare an excellent choice of dishes within a budget. The management of the club is the responsibility of Lance Mawby who is able to organise a complete package to cover every aspect of your celebration from late licenses and flowers to music and entertainment. The catering and management of events held at other venues can also be arranged. Lance Mawby, as Club Secretary, also deals with applications for corporate and individual membership. The original club was founded in 1870 under the patronage of Benjamin Disraeli and has retained its historic links with the Conservative Party; consequently membership is open to those holding Conservative Party views.
